If you have monolids like me, you would understand the frustration of putting on eye makeup.

It always seems pointless because no matter how thick your eyeliner is, your monolid seems to cover up about 50% of it.

Here are some tips on how to do a perfect natural monolid makeup.

  1. Tightlining – Instead of drawing your eyeliner upwards, why not draw it downwards? It will make your eyes look bigger and natural with fuller looking eyelashes.

  1. Mascara/Fake Eyelashes/Eyelash extension – With longer looking lashes, your eyes will naturally look bigger. Try those Etude house fakelashes, it’s very natural looking and it only cost S$5 per pair.

  1. Natural Smoky shades of brown – It will create more dimensions to your eyes.

  1. Eye shadow instead of eyeliner – Since your eyes are going to eat up 50% of your makeup, don’t waste money on putting on too much eyeliner, use eye shadow instead.

  1. Gel linear – Easier to get a fuller look.
