Chinese New Year Charity Shoot

In conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year celebrations, on the 31 January 2016,

we had our first charity photoshoot, “格格” themed.

Models Gisele Ong and Felicia Cheung were the main cast of the shoot. Talented makeup artist Nancy Toh was the main Cosmetologist. Other significant unsung heroes were Christopher Tan and Ronnie Chng.

The whole preparation of the shoot began in December 2015 where the thought of a “格格” themed photoshoot was purely for our company’s advertising means. However, along the way model Felicia had a brilliant idea to integrate the shoot by raising funds for the children in Melrose Home.

The day of the shoot started as early as 5am with all the preparation of props and makeup.

Four photographers were present; they were Mr Vinc Chua, Mr Raymond Chen, Mr Gaven Lim and Mr Poh Chu Wei. Other photographer who could not attend on the scheduled date but donated generously was Mr Martini Lee.

A total of $500 was raised. In addition, Any Modeling sponsored a total of ten 2016 limited edition calendars featuring ex-Miss Singapore(s) each worth (S$49) as door gift to all the kind souls photographers, sponsors and Melrose home.

There’s a saying, “we make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” Indeed,

we forged friendship with like-minded photographers, models and volunteers. It was a fruitful day, we all went home exhausted but happy.
